“Holidays” – Kristen Lee Sergeant and Ted Nash
Holiday albums don’t win Best Album awards. It’s like comedy films never winning Best Film Oscars. But I still love the time and creativity everyone put into this album, and would love to take this opportunity to share it with you as we approach the holiday season. Even if you don’t plan to vote we want you to enjoy the music.
In particular I encourage you to listen to “Solstice” by Brian Byrne and Kristen Lee Sergeant.
I co-arranged this song with Brian, with lyrics by Kristen, and it is about light in a time of darkness. It is luminous and heartfelt, and dear to our hearts. We hope this just-over four minute journey is one that makes your season that much more joyful.
Thanks for listening — we can’t think of a better prize than that.
Ted
